FELSVERLAUF 1785/2014

2014
video installation by Birgit Schuh and Christoph Rodde,

14:30 min, projection on styrofoam

FELSVERLAUF 1785/2014 is an analysis of the vast changes that the “Plauenscher Grund” – a river valley in Dresden – underwent due to quarry work. The projection on a three-dimensional pattern made of styrofoam plates is a reference to the broken stone and breaks the image of the projection.
